Default Aliso Was Awesome Today

Singletrack Angel and I did a quick ride through Aliso this afternoon and let me tell you it was sweet. You know the saying - absence makes the heart grow fonder? Well that was certainly true today. After being off the bike for too many days it was great to be back in the saddle and with the one I love.

The weather was beautful, the wind was blowing and the air was not bad at all. The sunset and clouds were incredible. I did feel a bit guilty towards the end thinking of those up in Silverado fighting for their houses and perhaps lives. I hope and pray they will be spared.

Tomorrow should be a great day for the Halloween ride!

Funny: With all the attention on the fires, it's been easy to forget that we had very severe winds that started it all, and which have also caused damage in many wilderness areas.
