    Question Hurkey Creek

What's the word on the trails currently? Is there snow?

There is quite a bit at higher elevations (Cowbell Alley, Southridge and Ernie maxwell) and on the Keen Summit climb. I rode Alvin Meadow today and it had patchy snow but lots of run off on the trails (more than last winter), as well as about 8 downed trees on one trail alone, so I am guessing Hurkey is the same in areas other than those I mentioned. Thomas Mountain has a lot of snow still.
Also remember that the 74 from Hemet is closed due to a section of the highway being washed away.

I may venture over there tomorrow if it isn't peeing down. If I do, I'll let you know more.

Thanks for the offer, Doug. I might take you up on that.
I was planning on riding Palm Canyon on Saturday, but the weather may put a stop to that. Where are you thinking of riding?

If it's not (peeing) as Simon says? I'll be available for upper Simpson park, and the upper boulder area.
