Vail Lake Saturday 6/21

I have a conference in Murrieta this Saturday morning, and was thinking about hitting up Vail Lake after its over in the early afternoon, around 1 or 1:30.

Will I be able to ride around there with the Racers and Chasers event going on?

Does anyone have a suggested route of 12-15 miles that won't interfere with the racers (or chasers)?

R&C is usually at 9 am, I believe. Their course markers will mostly be gone by the time you get out there.

Even if not, there isn't any course closing, etc. If there are racers (I don't think there will be) I'd just say be respectful and yield the trail. Otherwise, enjoy.

I posted up a route that was the initial 12 Hours course on geoladders.

Otherwise you could print up Jason's directions from 12hrsoftemecula.com and follow his written instructions.

Thanks for the advice. Upon further reflection, I've decided to ride the Santa Rosa Plateau instead. Its apparently right across the freeway from my conference.

I have some questions about that trail as well, which I've asked in this thread.
