Just thought I'd bump this before I finally calendar the ride.

Doug, are you still available next Wednesday, June 11th? If so, I'll post it up.

All others can weigh in as well.

Actually I'm not.

I am free on Wednesdays all but once a month (for an instructor's meeting at my Taekwondo studio). Our meeting is on the 11th this month at 6PM. How about the 18th??

I can't make Wednesday the 11th. Usually I work in Temecula, but that day I'll be in El Segundo. After work the 18th should work.

Wednesday the 18th it is.

I was about to post this up as a group ride, but I don't know where exactly the trailhead is.

Doug, can you or someone who knows the exact spot of the trailhead either post this ride for 5:30 on Wednesday, June 18th, or let me know the address of the trailhead is and I'll post it.

Thanks,

James

That's one thing I was wondering. I usually roll out from my parents' house, but there's not enough parking there for everyone. We could roll out from the end of Stage Coach Ln. That's probably the best choice. There will just be some back-tracking to show you guys the stuff out towards De Luz Rd.

Also, how long of a ride are we thinking?? If we roll right at 5:30, we can see a lot in the 3 hours of daylight we'll have if we hammer a bit. Or, we can take it more mellow and I can just show you guys the main stuff in 2 hours or less. It will probably be a better idea to just stick to the main stuff. That way we won't get stuck in the dark if we have a mechanical.

Thoughts?
My goal would be to be rolling at 5:30, and for me (just my preference) I'd rather not hammer. If we can see the good stuff in 2+ hours, that's great by me and leaves some room for error like you said.

Do we meet at the end of North Stage Coach Lane where it intersects East Mission Road, or South Stage Coach lane where it intersects South Mission Road?

(And why can't Fallbrook think of more than two names for its streets?)
