Default Whiting Ranch

I rode Whiting Ranch on 2/17/06 in advance of the coming storms to get one more ride in before I left town again.

Cactus has been re-routed near the top to avoid the lower part of the big grooved out area. Personally I liked it the way it was before.

There is a nice little jump on Serrano Cow Trail (I think that's the name of the trail) to hit on the way out. I'm not sure if this is new or I've just missed it before.

Overall conditions are very good. We'll see after the rains.

This is just too short of a ride without linking up with the Santiago Truck Truck Trail/Luge.

Rode Whiting/stt/luge today with Bret and Pat. All these trails are in good condition with the occasional mud patch but nothing too serious.

Anyone know what the conditions are of Whiting Ranch now? I want to go riding tomorrow (Saturday Sept 21, 2007) with a buddy of mine. Hopefully it doesn't rain...

semaj, im guessing whiting will be closed if it rained down there. stt never 'closes', but might wanna give it a day to dry out. stt handles rain pretty good though.

Mustard takes a while to dry. STT is your best bet locally.
