Default Julian Death March, Saturday, April 10th, 2010

We have set the date for the Julian Death March 2010 edition. It will be Saturday April 10th, 2010.
There will be a slight course change to give you more dirt and to make it even more challenging. Courses will range from around 45 to 85 miles with lots of climbing. Oriflame will be a wild card this year.
Stay tuned for updates. Registration will be open around mid December.

Schedule permitting I would like to do this ride next year. Thanks for the heads up!

I will be there. Please keep Oriflame! I didn't get the opportunity to do it last year and I have to hear what all the rukus is about :-)

Too bad it's the same date as the Project Rwanda ride

I worked real hard on not having any scheduling conflicts. I checked calendars, e-mailed the 24HOA folks the sagebrush folks, looked at the warrior society dates etc and saw nothing about the Rawanda ride. Oh well that is a wimpy 50 mile ride anyways!
It is almost impossible not to have other events going on the same dates anymore.

I'll pull my tail from between my legs after this year JDM and attempt to finish it again.

I can imagine it is very tough to find a date without some conflict, and you can never please everyone. And it's not like I could survive the Julian ride anyway, so it's no biggie to be that I'd already registered for Rwanda.

Good luck on a great event!

Default Anyone here doing Julian Death next weekend?

I am on the fence due to the late start and the long drive. Who signed up already?

Default Hey Rich! Paging Rich. Oh Meester Wolf!!!

    Wheee!

I'm leaving for Julian from SLO tomorrow morning @ 6 -7am. Westy and LA traffic willing, I'll pull into the RV park by mid-afternoon. Hopefuly, in time to have a look at part of the "short" loop before dark.

And Friday, if Mr. Richwolf would like some help course marking, I'd love to tag along. Hint. Hint.

Good luck to everyone tomorrow! Its going to be an awesome ride.

I sprained my foot playing softball this week and won't be able to participate. I tried an "easy" ride on my road bike today and had to turn around after a quarter mile. Damn! Im bummed out. Next year for sure though.

Rich if you need someone to volunteer for aid stations, etc. let me know and I can come down. I can also bring my tools and be a bike mechanic heh.

Come on out and watch and see what your are missing! I am sure there is something we could get you to do.
Perhaps you could run the show and I could ride!
