Default Make your bike activate traffic lights.

Get two 6 lb(pulling force) Neodymium magnets like these.

https://www.magnet4sale.com/xcart4/p...cat=309&page=4

Get some thin double sided thin 3M tape and tape these to the bottom of your bottom bracket, perpendicular to the road.

The Neo magnets will trip the Inductive-loop traffic detector that operates by sensing a change in frequency to the electromagnetic field over the coil of wire.

Dude...are you crazy?!?

With double-sided tape that'll add at least 15 to 20 grams!! Why would I want to weigh down my bike like that?

Besides...red lights give the slower riders a chance to catch up.

If i put two 12lb (force) magnets, will the light turn green in half the time?.......

We should call pubilc works and have these buttons install on each intersection, they do not add any weight to your bike

Oh yeah...

Them damn magnets are gonna be picking up all the random crap on the ground to weigh me down further.

Bits of wire...
Nails...
Small animals...
Small children...

I'd have to unclip to kick off a little 3 year old from my bottom bracket.

First off all...that's downright mean.
Second...that'll really lower my average speed...

Third...if we all do it, we'd probably screw up the Earth's gravitational orbit around the sun and our planet would fly off into the cosmos... Screw global warming because the further we drift away the colder it would get until the point where the planet could no longer sustain life. Existence on this planet would cease. No more cycling PERIOD.

Dang Rob. Do you really want to be responsible for all that just cuz you were too impatient to wait for the green?

Count me out!!

Yeah, but think of all the sneaker pipes and dubs you'll pick up!

Saw your graffiti

Dude, poach traffic lights and cuss at people like the rest of us.

Agro is always the best policy.
