Damn...I am unlucky! About the right size for me, but no can afford right now. I want a road bike, but a new mtb is a higher priority.

Looks like a nice ride. Good luck on the sale.

Intense doesn't make road bikes. They put their stickers on frames made in Taiwan (which shouldn't be looked down upon - Taiwan-produced frames typically have better QC than USA-made stuff, especially from Intense).

I agree considering all the issues you've had with your Intense frames!!

By the way, you guys are talking inseam. Inseam only really determines seat height, not necessarily frame size.

I don't know about Intense, but some frame companies - especially those that offer compact frame designs - size their frames based on the effective top-tube length, which doesn't take your inseam into consideration. However, one could extrapolate that at a given height and inseam, your upper torso would be about a given height, which would put you on a a given sized frame.

Also, sizes don't mean anything until we know specifically what the measurement is of, example, one company's 55cm frame could be the exact same size as another's 58cm.

Although you're probably right in this case, Intense's claimed geometry of their mtb frames is notoriously wrong. Even when I do spec the bikes using the same parameters as Intense, the numbers are way off (and never in a positive direction).

For the road frames, it's likely they are using the numbers spec'd by the actual frame manufacturer, so they're likely more correct.

It fits me well, as the top tube on this bike is a little shorter that a 58 Bianchi C2C which was my last road bike. The rear wheel is pushed under the seat tube a bit which allows for the frame to be super responsive. You have to remember, I pretty much MTB so the frame is set up to a more MTB position in riding than a road position.

As you can see my roadie knowledge is miniscule.

If you are serious about buying it, come on over a throw a leg over it. If it feels good, it fits.

The way I have it set up its small, i.e 100mm 10 degree Thomson stem.
Price is right as the frame alone is 2100.00
