Those who have the Rival or Force groups will be glad (or actually kind of frustrated, damn it!) that the Red group now has trim for the front derailleur.

Although I like the looks of the group, those who don't want red highlights on their bikes (me) may not be interested. You know, looks are important!

Do you think it's too much to ask for a SRAM Blue groupo? How about SRAM Black? Or a WSD (Women's Specific Design) version, either SRAM Pink or SRAM Baby Blue...oh wait, that's the ISD (Infant Specific Design) version.

OK, I'll shut up now.

Anyone else notice that mountain bikers seem much more ready to accept SRAM components on their road bikes?

My thoughts why. Road bikers have had a two choices when it comes to groupos, Shimano and Campy, while mountain bikers had really only had one Shimano. I think mountain bikers want to support SRAM so there is choice in the market (and because they make great stuff so I hear). Just my $.2

SRAM is a company that has grown up with MTB and we love alternatives to the Big Boys

I would much rather support Sram or Campy, just because they're bicycle only companies.

SRAM is one of the big boys now, though.
