my redline conquest pro has barend shifters, i do not like this at all. id like to be able to shift like everyone else, can i just put 9spd shifters/brake levers on it and roll? when i bought it the guy told me they are on it because you can twist the knob in the middle of the shifter and make it "non indexed" i guess. so can i do this, and do YOU have any 9spd lever/shifters deals around? thanks!

I just built up a new road frame with my almost new 9 speed stuff but my front double shifter is not working right.... So Im looking for a single shifter or the pair as cheap as possible....

ahh, well atleast you have them, lol. think its possible to do what i want to do? i hate taking my hands off the drops to reach for the shifter. bahhhhh.

even DT one would be better, 2 times friday i bumped the rear shifter on a sprint smathing my knee and putting the bike into a lower gear, grrrrr. it HAS to be a 9sp shimano right? campy wont work? ill buy yours if you find some, how much?

Oh Chucksbikes.com has 9 speed 105 shifters... only thing is they dont come with cables(no biggie) and a box but they are new... Chuck is also local in Orange so you can buy in person, you just have to email him first about showing up...

If you go to page 2 and page 3, etc they still list 9 speed stuff....
