Upgraded to an '03. 2nd generation frame. Never had a white bike.

Nice rig! It looks like the rear tire is overlapping the seat tube on the right side of the bike. Is that normal or is the pic just wierd.

That is normal, its supposed to be more aerodynamic giving you less drag

Got it, the seat tube curves in and runs close to the tire. Very cool. I like the smooth look to it.

Yeah its a typical areo type of frame.... My roadie has similar teardrop down tubes and seat tubes...

i think it is the specialized allex that sort of has that shape to it, just not as close to the tire

Then you get into the Tri bikes which are built to be very aero and you have the specialized transition that has it, the Trek equinox ones all have it the Giant Trinity has it, the BMC TTs have it the Cervelo p2 and p3 have it yada yada yada
