![]() Some old road frames I picked up (two of them were still in their original packaging, never touched.) I'm not sure what parts I am going to build them up with, but they are all going to be fixed gear bikes, and they are all going to look badass. I'm going to try and keep the red & orange ones classy, but the white one is gonna be the flashy one, with a bunch of crazy colors and all the fun stuff. |

Those are going to be awesome projects dude. I'm really looking forward to seeing them when you are done. Maybe take one for a spin around the Bowl with you one day.
Take a look at the Surly flip flop rear hub. You can run fixed on one side and freewheel SS on the other. Also super high flanges would look great. Soma has some nice looking bars Soma Fabrications. Are you going to run a front brake? Check out Road Bike Review and Bike Forum for more idea. Both have sections that will have many posts on fixies. Oh you have to get a Brooks leather saddle for them too.

There a lot more where they came from, and they will probably all be for sale within a few weeks (the guy who owns them needs to get them all organized and figure out what the hell he has) PM me your email adress and I will forward to him. My guess is that he has about 40 frames, and the majority are 54's. |

I have no idea what he would charge for the frames, but I know it would be really reasonable. Damn, how tall are you? |

Can we get an update on these projects? With pic?
Where are you getting your track hubs and/or wheels from?

What hubs did you end up with? Straight fixie or flip flop (fixie/SS)?
Did you get them from your buddy's shop?
