:: 2007 Redlands Bicycle Classic ::

I've done this ride a bunch of times then hung around for the race. (Fun ride) Man, they haul ass like nothing you've ever seen before (unless you went to the Amgen Tour). They have a huge expo area and all the top local teams and some not so local. Chris Horner won it one year that I was there. And last year he raced for the first time in the Tour De France. All pro clubs that are local will be there. I plan on getting sick one day and missing work, for I can watch some more of this race.

I went and watched the Pro's Crit at the San Dimas Stage Race last Sunday, my first time spectating a road race. Very, very impressive, to say the least. People can say what they want about roadies, many of them have some real talent, not DH talent, but talent nonetheless.

I will do 60 miles. Sounds like fun. I typically do road only during the week and if i hit the dirt it is on weekends. I don't live near any trailheads so driving somewhere all the time is no good, especially with these gas prices, so the road keeps me in shape for the weekends when i hit the dirt.
