What jumps out at me is brake wear! Dude, after throwing down $5K on the set, you're gonna have to replace them at some point due to braking. This is truely for pros only.

I read in Velonews Robin Williams bought two sets. No kidding, he's got over 300 bikes.

You run brake pads made of cork. The pads wear out quicker, but they are not as abbrasive on the rum surface.
