You don't want to miss that much vertical (12,000 feet) and horizontal (114 miles) fun and games, do you?

I am signing up. It will be my first road event, although I've done VQ a couple of times on MTB, which I suspect/hope is about the same.

It would be fun to do Breathless agony on a Mtn Bike w/Slick tires just to see the reactions.

I've done the breathless agony and I think you're about right. It about equals the VQ. Hard to say which is harder. The VQ took longer though.

Thanks for the "encouragement", Mario. I think I'm going to see how it goes this year with VQ then Breathless. This will be my first century on a road bike so I have no idea how it will be. How about you? You said you might do it.

For your first Century you sure picked one with a high degree of difficulty, but have no fear you'll be able to do it with not to much of a problem. If I had a triple on, I'd do it again (yeah, right).
