56 mph on road. I was going faster than the 55mph speed limit . It wasn't really steep, but I was pedaling as fast as I could, pretty much spinning in 50X11.

And I can pretty much hit 35 often on the MTB.

I have done that.
If that's the case, next time I'm mounting the garmin in the car I'm testing on the track. Should be good for about 247 down the front straight at cal speedway

Then it's "official" right???

49.5 on the bottom part of mathis. Early 90's that part of the trail was smoother and less rutted than it is today. Had a 52 tooth front chainring and just hammered it; no suspension just hanging on for dear life at the bottom. A moment not to be forgotten!

41mph at Turnbull, never again though. Your asking for a death wish at those speeds if you have a slip up. Now I just take it easy on the downs and focus more on climbing and technique.

47 MPH (GPS) Kamikaze fire road last year in Mammoth, that was way way too fast, boiled the rear brake at the bottom of the run.

You guys are crazy!
I've gone like 28, screaming with tears running down my face. Although my computer did register 60 something one time. I think it was from my wheel spinning during transport though.

47 mph on the Kamikaze for me. (Was pacing Happy Gilmore)
I think you can go even faster on Canyon road that starts at the end of shotgun and runs down the the village shuttle pickup.

70+ on skis back when I used to race.
