Around 6:00 or so.....
35 miles - Average 20 mph (Out of Corona out past Toms Farms then up and around Lake Matthews.) Good back road loop w/ limited traffic. Cheers, C.K.

I was thinking more like 3:30 because I have to be back at school later for Back to School night. But I won't ride around Lake Matthews. I did once and it scared the heck out of me. In some places there wasn't enough room to ride and I was worried about getting taken out by a car. More power to you.
~R Not actually. Baghdad is 101. http://weather.msn.com/local.aspx?we...%c4%81d%2c+IRQ Unless you are taking about Baghdad Pakistan, which is a relatively cool 88. http://weather.msn.com/local.aspx?we...%c5%abn%2c+PAK Here in Moval it is a mere 92 degrees. ~Your resident smart donkey |

Where around Lake Mathews is there limited traffic? That's a gnarly climb up. More power to you especially at 20mph! That's a good speed, I do 15 mph usually and really push myself if I get up to 17...actually I only did that once on the way back to Corona on the SART with a HUGE tail wind! Felt awesome though.

Maybe I am..... I guess it's not first time that I have been told that. There is a lot less traffic out that way then here in town and you don't have to stop for anything.
It's really not that bad. It's only a mile or two to the top and it's not steep.... The drivers are typically pretty accommodating and semi-traffic is almost non existent after 5:30 or so. Cheers, C.K. C.K.

I got out really late and only made a shorter section of the second part of the loop. I drive all the way out to Redlands twice a week to get in training rides w/ Citrus Valley Velo being that there is nothing in my immediate area. Here's the second part and the inaugural trip w/ my new Walmart Garmin (Cross-thread, I know....)
![]() Pretty damn large ugly geeky contraption however, pretty cool. (I don't know what that says for me?) Be cool to get something going in the area.... The more the merrier! (Safer as well.) Oh yeah, and it wasn't to bad in regards to heat. Today seems to be a bit uglier. Cheers, C.K. P.S. Skyline tonight. Up to Manifold and down. *Got to keep the legs fresh for Brian Head.
