i talked with one of the guys who was responsible for the route...he said it was really tough and you confirmed it. Maybe I'll pass on it next year too. Hope you had fun and thnx for making a difference

It looks like you and Team Crash exceeded your donation goals, that's wonderful. Great idea putting a few things up for "donation" to add to the pot. I just put the levers on my old Mongoose, all ready for the next vintage ride.

I feel horrible for not remembering his name, but I believe the rider mostly responsible for the route is named Matt. He's a great guy and a strong rider. MS hasn't slowed the guy down one bit.

I have ridden the MS century route twice on little to no actual training. My pain this year was due to my preparation (lack thereof) and some wicked pain on my lower right leg. I still say you should attempt the century next year, and if it's a tough as I make it out to be, well then, remember that misery loves company.
