I'm part of a club called "Cycling Connection", that hosts road rides on Tues and Thurs nights at 5:30pm. Unfortunately, we are in Rancho Cucamonga, and I don't know if you'd want to travel that far at that time of the day. Still, if you're interested, I can give you more info.

Have you tried posting your road rides here? You may get a few nibbles...

with the Amtrak Century coming up I'm sure there will be more road rides available. There are quite a few of us signed up. I know I would like to get at least one weeknight road ride in. Usually river bed. I will post when we start.

Maybe check out the OC rebel riders. I haven't ridden with them yet, but they do a road ride a few days a week after work.

I ride in the evenings during the week. I live a mile away from the Lincoln ave / SA river trail location. I start from my home and head notth to Wier Cyn in Yorba Linda. Sometimes do a hill or two for some pain. My round trip is 25 mis. I avg around 21mph +/-. Would love some company. Even if 21 is to fast or slow by 1 or 2 mph.
Would also be willing to alter my ride to accomodate.
Let me know....

We meet at Milliken and Kenyon way, right below the 210 fwy. You'll find us amassed at the east end of the Albertson's parking lot. There are riders of all level, from recreational to racers. You will find a group at your level. We'd love to have you. Perhaps I'l see you soon.

Thanx Pickett I'll plan to make it up there for sure at least one of the days during the week when I am at the Fontana office.

Mark, post or pm me when you are going to ride the SA River Trail and I would like to join you if I can.

Thanx to all for the replies and I hope to meet some of you on the road. Anyone feel free to PM me when you need some riding company because that has been my biggest challange with the road riding versus the MTB riding.
There is always someone to get into the dirt with but no one to play in the streets with!!

Default Santa Ana river trail ride

To roadirt rider,
I plan on getting out again on Tuesday or Wednesday eve. Which one would work best for you?
Say around 6ish? Let me know where and when you can go. We can exchange numbers instead of posting. I am not at a computer during the day (usually). I need to plan a day ahead.

Sounds great Mark, I will PM you my Cell # and call me the day before so we can plan the ride. Wednesday looks better for me but if I get tied up working then we can make it work another day in the week. Either way lets hook up so we can get it going. Thanx!!!
