Good luck man. REI's got a good lightweight +40 sleeping bag for $100. Weighs under 2 lbs. Get a good compression sack and you're all set!

Mike! I am so envious of you right now. I wish I could take the time off to join you for part of your odyssey. Just make sure you come home with lots of stories and pics so the rest of us can live vicariously through your adventure.
