Default Gmr

If anybody is riding GMR tomorrow look for a real slow guy on a over laden touring bike. Going up with over 50 pounds, god have mercy on my knees!

Hey Mike, Tim and I will be going up with a couple others. We'll be starting at 8:30 in the Claremont Hills Wilderness Park parking lot off the corner of Mills and Baldy. Maybe we'll see you on the way. We'll all be dressed in Colavita colors (red, green and white).

Yes. GMR is Glendora Mountain Road. It is open to cars, but occasionally it gets closed to cars. I don't know its current status. It's fun to climb GMR, to the Baldy Village, then bomb down Mt. Baldy Road.

At this time GMR is open to cars. There were more motorcyclists than cars tho. We almost got taken out by a train of Harley's as they headed down from the intersection of GMR and Baldy Rd where the road doesn't have a yellow center line.
They crossed over to the wrong side of the road as they crossed the apex in a blind curve. Idiots.

Probably not. I was just passing along bad information. Sorry guys. A riding buddy of mine was pulling my leg.

I ended up on the mountain bike this past Sunday. We are doing this though this weekend and I'll be riding a loaded bike weighing in at 68 pounds. (not counting water)
