I raced, and I didn't get lapped! I call that an accomplishment. I thought I was in good position during the 20 lap scratch for about 15 laps, then a big group blew by me and I went straight to the back for the last 5 laps.

That be him...we do a lot of the same races together. !2hrs of Temecula, Julian Death March...Old Pueblo, etc...

I picked up a 1986 Schwinn Madison cheep that needs a little work...and wheels. I want to keep my langster for a roadie punisher.
I have been thinking about the classes...but i heard they are a little steep.

This your first year?

Yes this is my first year. I signed up for the very first set of classes in March, then started racing immediately after they finished. They aren't cheap, but I wouldn't call them expensive either. Jens is the the only other guy with a Griffen that I've seen out there.

Get that Madison up and running, sign up for class, and get racing!

Sprint night is this Tuesday, with a "regular program" on Friday. Hooray!

It's good if you like watching 2 lap races involving 2-4 people at a time. They also did Keirins last time.

There is a racing program tomorrow (Friday) night. Occurs once a month, on the Friday after the first Tuesday of the month.

Did I see Greg (TCB) out in the stands tonight? I saw a Turner, and a guy that looked suspiciously like him with Race Face shorts on.
