I'd still like to see him get a TT or prologue stage win! I don't think he'll be in it much more than that.

Hopefully High Road will get a few sprint wins. I don't think they'll do much more either

I won't make a list of all the known dopers who are in the Tour, but there are plenty. Then if you add the implicated ones from Puerto and elsewhere you have a significant percentage. So I think it's unfair to exclude Astana and let others in.

I think Astana got left out, not because of the dopers, but because ASO does not like one tiny little bit,Johan Brunyneel. He's a self-rightous arrogant sneaky little pork fart that sat on Indurains wheel for 90 miles(give or take) and then stole the stage. ooo I still burn about that. It was different when I did it. It wasn't 90 miles.

Maybe it's not a final list?
Do you really think that ASO, who left Astana out of this Tour, would let a team with Botero, Sevilla, and Hamilton in as a wildcard?

It is ridiculous that the ASO fail to include the team that has the star power to get T.V.'s to click on around the world. This is not to say, the other teams don't have stars and draw. Even if Mr. J.B. is a "pork fart", doesn't the smell of bacon sizzling and the knowledge that last years winner, even if by default, or ejection, or injection allegation, or unauthorized travel for introspection...whoops (no idea what or where I was heading with that) is in the mix add a great deal of flavor to the race? J. B. is a great Dir. Sptf. (can't spell it.) even if he is a donkey. I would love to see him direct a different squad to a victory. Positioning is everything, never use your reserves until the opponent is frothing and cracking!

I agree that the riders on Astana deserve to ride, especially with the defending champ and the rest of the star power. If you remember last year though, Astana pulled the whole team out after Vino got kicked out. Considering how an invite to the TDF is so coveted, maybe this is the Tour's way of saying screw you Astana! There are so many other teams that would have loved to race and you want to pull your entire team out?
