Just in case you didn't know:

Orange County Wheelman....OCW.org....puts on a fun Cinco De Mayo Ride each year called the Fiesta 150...It's May 3 & 4...bunch of us are doing it from Switchback Cyclery.

It's a ride from Irvine Train Station down to Del Mar...75 miles...then you stay the night there and ride back the next day for a fun total of 150 miles! Great rest stops and support the whole way ! They take your bags to one of the two hotels at the end then bring it back the next day to the train station.....fun raffle and dinner that Saturday night too.

Some people ride down on the Sat. and then take the train back the next day.

Tim and I are signed up and staying at the Marriot! They have a jacuzzi...the other place didn't! I will need it considering my riding condition.

Lot's of people did it last year on Mnt. bikes and comfort bikes....takes a bit longer but it's a great ride down the coast ! We stopped and visited at other bike shops along the way and had lunch on the beach.....so it's not only for leg shavers

I'll be doing the Breathless Agony this time around. A lot of my buds do this ride every year and they love it. They say it's a party on two wheels. Very relaxed and very fun. I'll do it next year for sure.
