I was riding PCH the other day and the guy ahead of me flashed me some hand sign as we approached a stop light.
I'm a roadie newby - Is there any site online that I might learn what these signals mean? It would be good to know before I try a group ride. |

omg.. on some of my ALC training rides the signals are way over-used to the point where they become meaningless. Use only when necessary, and when safe. I had a guy in front of me point to a parked car. This is normal, but only if someone is directly behind you (I was many bike lengths back). As he pointed he went right into traffic and was almost taken out. Oy vey.
