Default SART -- Is it open?

Given this rain thing, I was thinking about riding the bike path along the SART tomorrow. A friend of mine told me that the powers-that-be close the L.A. river trail during times of rain. Does anyone know if that's true for the SART?

I'd like to know as well, as that's my typical Sunday ride

No SART asphalt section is and will remain open, no matter the weather. We are also riding it Sunday. Brrrr

Are you guys talking about the river trail that passes through Santa Ana, Orange, etc ... If so what times do you guys start?

Yep, we should be going through Green River around 8 am. We start back by the I-15 around 7:15. I'm not 100% sure on the times though as the ride leader isn't emailing me back at this time. I'm about to go over to his house and find out WTF is going on!

I have to say I rode the river trail the day after the rains a couple of weeks ago and they already had the crews out cleaning the next day. I wish they had that kind of service on the Aliso Bike Trail. Some of the crossings are still trashed from last month.
