Bigotry and alcohol abuse just don't mix. I've read too many things about road cyclists being hit by idots behind the wheel. It's one of the main reason I choose not to ride the road. I don't agree with the cyclists lifestyle (being gay), but he was a person and deserved to live. Human life is worth more than this.
I hope she gets to know Bertha or Helga really well in Prison. I love AZ justice.

What is there not to agree with? It's not a lifestyle choice people have the opportunity to make. You're born that way.

That'd be like disagreeing with the NBA because the players are naturally tall...they didn't have a choice in the matter.

She is one of many many reasons I don't ride on the road! Just too many idiots like her out there, heck just look around while you drive.

At least the justice is served.

Anyone heard anything about that girl got killed on Santiago canyon?

This article leaves out something in the final paragraph. In a previous article from when the accident happened, it came out that the only reason she stopped at all was because when she hit the guy, he flew over the hood and into the bed of her truck.

This was all witnessed by another woman who observed that she had swerved off the road two other times prior to hitting the cyclist.

Arrington was quoted as saying "If she had such a problem with my driving, why didn't she call 911 earlier?". Implying that the accident would not have occurred if the other driver had called 911 instead of her actually accepting responsibility.

The judge felt that she felt more remorse over being caught than she did over killing the cyclist.

When I lived in Tempe AZ I remember Sheriff Joe Arphio (I think that how you spell his last name) anyways you don't mess with AZ or Maricopa county justice. You have to love state that lets you carry guns! Anyways its a felony to have even a Mary Jane seed, and the Sheriff is a real cowboy. When I was living out in the desert they had the superbowl in Tempe and Sheriff Joe put a revolving lighted sign on top of his jail and it said Vacancy! If you get busted for a DUI its mandatory 24 hours jail time in tent city. In case you guys don't know what tent city is, its a jail outside in tents no AC in the summer and no heat in the winters. He puts the prisonners out to work on chain gangs and the cops are sitting on top of the horses with shot guns and mirriored sun glasses! IN the jails their is no TV programs, at the end of the night Sheriff Joe goes on the the monitors throughout the jail and reads stories to the prisoners everynight. Its funny because as he is reading the stories he is sitting next to a fire drinking a glass of wine with his dog sitting next to him on the floor.

The main point to this long rant is don't do anything bad in AZ or especially Maricopa County!

Seriously, born that way? Name me the common gene in every Gay person's DNA that makes them that way. Height and sexual PREFERENCE are not comparable.
No I do not agree with it. I do not believe that it is Nature, but rather Nurture. It is learned in one way or another.

Really? Is it? Wasn't sure cause someone questioned a comment I made. Moron or not, it still hasn't been proven to be soemthing your Born With. Quite calling names and bring a real argument. I'm open to debate, but name calling is childish. - Alright, Im done with that.

A person did die here and that is a tragedy. A senseless incident, not an accident. I thinkk this lady should get more than 10.5 years. The time doesn't fit the crime. I have tons of respect to you all who ride the road. I wish you safety and freedom from whackos in cars.

Ever heard of a twin study? If you have, then you know there has been scientific study on the matter.

I have a ghey friend. The funny thing is he was a US Army Special Forces operator. The guy is hardcore was shot in Somalia during the whole Black Hawk Down thing, was on the History Channel for the Real Black Hawk Down special. Its cool to have a ghey friend because I can ask him questions like what he see's in men and not feel embarassed about asking the questions.
