Default Look Pedals

I finally made the switch from mtn bike pedals to road pedals. I felt like such a barney with them on my road bike so I purchased some LOOK pedals, great deal via eBay. These pedals are killings my knees and my legs seem to have more fatigue than normal. Has anyone else experienced this?

You might want to drop by a shop or have a professional fitting to make sure everything is adjusted properly. I recommend moving the cleat all the way back to lesson Achilles pain.

that means the cleat is in the wrong spot. i would also recommend taking it to your lbs and having them take a look at it. different styles of riding need different cleat placement

Somethings definitely up with your position somehow. I went from SPD's to Look Keo Classics without any issue. I really like the Looks.

What color are the cleats you're using? If you don't have ample float, road pedals can do a number on your knees. Red cleats have more float and are easier on the knees. Black are the worst, and grey aren't much better.

I have the red cleats. I defiantly need more float, the Looks just lock you in and have no movement at all. I'll stop by my LBS next week and see what they recommend.

Thanks for the info guys.

if you had the keo spriunt pedals in red i would trade you my speed play pedals for them. Speedplay has as much float as mtb pedals, or more. too much for me, just havent had extra funds to buy pedals i dont need
