Heal quick! I was counting on you to take me down the trail we were talking about the other day. Now I just have more time to work on my skills.

We did some trail work, then got like 6 shuttle runs and some taco loco. The weather was perfect and I was feeling good on the bike.

Yesterday, we took our new Intense rep out for some fun dh practice. I was hoping to try out his preproduction M6. The weather was awesome again. I crashed like 30 seconds into the first run.

oh well.

I was struggling to get my feet positioned. I ended up hitting a jump seated with at least one foot off the pedal. I must have looked pretty bad.

On the singletrack that connects top of the world to canyon acres. It was that little lip in front of a little ravine.

Isn't that the point where you're supposed to stop and call in the stunt double????

All kidding aside, My Esteemed El Capitan, sorry that you are down for the count, heal well and let us know if you need anything!!!

Geez man, I leave you alone for a week and you go hitting the ground harder than me?

You need to heal, so don't rush it. And when your back, you just keep burning it up DHing, and leave that crashing stuff to me!

Maxwell, it's a different philosophy on crashing...perhaps he just saved up all the little ones and combined them into one big one.

You sounded pretty roasted on the phone - Good to hear that the Mission guys and gals sorted you out well. The time will soon pass and you'll be back riding again in no time, makes it all the sweeter when you get back on
Heal fast - I recommend Sierra Nevada as a pain killer during your downtime.

Take care Tani, I'm handing the healing vibes to you man. If you haven't figured it out yet, I've found that with a broke wrist or broken clavicle (I've had both) it is best to sleep in a good chair and prop things up. I found my wife's boppy pillow a blessing in disguise.
