Tara Llanes: Fundraiser info

. DOWNHILL RACER TARA LLANES NEEDS YOUR HELP!

Tara Llanes is a local pro rider recently incurred a spinal chord injury
that left her paralyzed from the waist down. She was injured as a result of
a crash during the Jeep King of the Mountain series in Colorado. Tara is a
special human and needs the help of our community. Please help by
participating in a fundraiser to be held on Saturday, October 13th to raise
money for her rehab and living expenses.

The fundraiser will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Heritage Park in
Fountain Valley. The event cost is $50, which includes a t-shirt and Team
Llanes bracelet.

Bracelets, tees, raffle tickets and more will also be on sale at the event.
If you cannot attend the event but would like to purchase t-shirts and
bracelets, please email teamllanes@yahoo.com . Food and drink will be
available for a small donation.

If you would like to participate or contribute make your personal check,
cashier's check or money order to Team Llanes. Mail your payment (include
your name, t-shirt size, email address and phone number) to Team Llanes,
1145 Roswell #311 Long Beach, Calif. 90804.

In an effort to maximize the donations without over-ordering shirts and
bracelets they will be giving out on a first come first serve basis.

not confirmed but i think i ride sunday and may head over there with the little guy (give mommy a break). Yep, I believe it is that park slater/brookhurst)
