I PM'd Traci when I saw she was posting about the Sat ride at Aliso. I was looking into checking out an Element when Neil gets back from Interbikes. I haven't had a response, so maybe?

Thanks Greg and the rumor is true but no real carnage, just a swollen shoulder, hard to raise my left arm over my head.

It had to happen on my last ride of the day so I figured why not hit the stunt park on a rigid 29er demo .....I hit 2 of the drops, crossed the skinny ladder, did the wheelie drop- just let the front end go down and followed- and then lined up for the teeter. Perhaps a bit too slow but got up and over, swung down and I hit the loose rock fast, torn my front tire off the rim and proceeded to slam my left side into the ground..all right in front of the 1st aid tent!
Cleaned up, cleared out the mass of little rocks that were in between my tire and rim and hooked up with Justin and Allison for a fun loop on the #4 trail!
Thank god for Don Julio because as the night went on my shoulder kept feeling better and better, until the next morning!

neil-thanks for joining the ranks of the injured shoulders!
-seriously, though,i hope your shoulder isn't seriously
hurt. My shoulder's almost healed finally went to the doc, said it was merely tendonitis and told me take
Aleve, 2 pills twice a day, for two weeks, and it really helped; you may want to try that. hope you wont be off the bike-hey let me know when you're in my neck of the woods (and by woods i mean aliso-woods)

I hope you get better soon. By the way thanks for all the help Traci , I couldn't have done the dirt demo with out you . The Chumba tent was busy from start to finish. I'm still hurt. I have re injured my shoulder repeatedly since the first day of dirt demo. I just keep using it when i know I should rest.
I rode rocket today and it started hurting really bad about midway down.
