Either way heal up!!!
I've tried that too Actually still have a bottle with a tiny bit in it. My results were mixed. It might of helped but certainly didn't make the rashes go away.

Thanks for the helpful comments, guys! I went to the doc today and got some prednisone (steroids) but only a three day dose. Hopefully it kills the PO

I picked up some BO... wait no some PO in Carbon Canyon Saturday Night. It must have been on the easy street creek. Huge welt on my shin that itches like crazy.

Don't scratch! Try and keep it nice and cool. Cold showers or even ice packs feel good on them. Calamine or hydrocortisone. If you're not too sensitive to it (like me) - taking care of your skin that way and also taking a clariton in the morning and two benadryl at before sleep should knock it out soon.

That sucks. Like magnet and steel with you.
Have you ever tried washing down with Dawn dishsoap after a ride?
Low tech compared to Zanfel, but it seems to help me.

Oak and I don't get along either...

No, that wasn't a platform pedal heated in fire then burnt on my leg...that was oak I saw developing in the middle. I put a covering over it, and somehow someway the freakin' stuff spread and started spewing all over my body.

Default Use baby wipes

I've found that wiping down any exposed skin after a ride helps.

And like , I prefer to stay above the PO line. I think it's 3,500 ft.

I do the Dawn soap after a ride:

Cool shower (so as not to open the pores)
Dawn Soap (it is made to break down oils & grease)

rinse & repeat.

Don't forget about treating the bike and clothes too.. It has a nasty habit of staying on things... Helped a guy out of a ditch during a moto ride and was wondering where the PO was coming from (I not ridden in months and hiking super careful). Went on a moto ride last weekend, guess what shows up on my arms again...!

Good luck to you

Ouch! G'luck to you, Eric. That patch on your knee looks viscous. From my own exerience I've noticed that spots on the arm go away quicker than the leg since the leg is moved more and generates more heat.

Thanks for the reminder, boboso.

Update on my PO: the steroids are working but I only have one pill left. Most of it is gone or fairly faint now. I hope once the pills run out that it doesn't stop the good trend.
