Pre op Physical is in one week, Surgery is a week from MOnday!!!!!! I not sure what I am more excited about, no more pain, no more daily pills, or finally getting some rest and away from work!!!!!

Three days till surgery, and I start having migraines..... Bastige doc should let me keeo my coffee damnit...... he took away coffee, aspirin, ibuprofen....... basically anything that can thin my blood till post surgery.....


Im grumpy now with a headache......and I have 22 pounds of Christopher bean coffee starting at me screaming..... Drink me...Drink me........

Just read through your entire post, going through test like that is so stress full especially when you are not feeling well. You will be feeling better soon, well wishes on your surgery and recovery.

My mother had her gall bladder removed a couple years ago.

It was a simple procedure...
Two holes punctured, one for the camera and another for the surgical tools. I think she said they grind and vacuum out after they re-route the bile ducts.

The only discomfort she had was soreness from them pumping air into her to separate the skin and other organs to allow easier access to the bad organ.

Give the surgeon a Presta adapter to see how he reacts. hehe

I know this may sound useless, but drink a lot more water and guava juice.

Surguery went off without a hitch. Much to my suprise, the worst pain is my shoulders, friggin Co2 is getting trapped in the joints. So currently I am sitting up a little, riding out the morphine they hit me with on the way out, and finally truly starting to wake up. Already been for a walk to work out the trapped Co2, thinking I will go again in about a half an hour. Strangly enough, I have an appetite now, even the Doctor was suprised on that

Well here is too a month off the bike, at least a week off work, and to getting in some fishing in the mean time.
