Default Stairsteps fail
I don't think I've made it down stairstep once without some kind of fail.

I took the "cheaters line" on the right of the first major dropoff, then went left. I usually unclip before all of this but today I didn't. I pretty much took too long to unclip, jacked my front brake, and supermanned right down the steep part (not the dropoff, that would have sucked) and slid about 6 feet before stopping.

Now my right knee and right elbow are jacked . Ice time!

Get some elbow pads and knee pads. they are a great investment.
I feel naked riding without them.

i think gray needand I to come out to aliso and ride with both of you, after 1-2 trys you should be able to pick your line down stair steps

i've been trying to figure it out for like 10 minutes wow i feel like my mom or something.

ummm, might wanna ride with us before you criticize bro.
come out with us and then you can do all the talking if you want, but i doubt it.

I've seen guys fly down it but that didn't work for me.I found if I went slow enough and could see my line I was able to do it everytime. Not to say it's easy but when it used to be a legal/illegal trail it was harder.

garret and afgen, ill try to remeber you guys when we shuttle aliso, so you can wear full pads, flats and get the trail down

Shuttle Aliso? What do you guys hit? Te and Stairs?

I need to get platforms if I'm going to do trails like 5 Oaks and Stairs. I focus waayy too much on clipping in/out and forget about my line.

te what ? i have no clue what you are talking about . But yeah playtforms would be very helpful that way you can worry about your line and body postion
