Wait at least the two weeks. It was a much longer time off the bike for me, as I had complications following my chop-chop that left me in bed wishing someone would just put me out of my misery. (sad, traumatized balls)

I did the V 5-6 years ago and it was cake. Sore for 2-3 days and no riding for 2 weeks but after that, I was golden and still am. I can't wait for some chick to claim I got her pregnant. HA, busted!

Having her take the pill (or whatever form she chooses) is easily done (and undone) and happens without any pain what-so-ever. Of all my surgeries and injuries, getting snipped was by far the easiest. Just take it easy and you'll be fine. I think most people have issues because the feel so good the day after. A little sore, but not that bad. Especially if you have had the pain of broken limbs, torn knee ligaments, road rash, etc. People get up the next day or two after and try to go weight lifting or mountain biking and have issues.
