Hey guys. you can now add me to the list of injured riders. I was riding my dirt bike at Perris Raceway, came into a turn way too hot, lost the front end, and was slammed to the ground breaking my collar bone.
![]() the doc says that im out for at least 6 weeks. cant wait to get back on the bike!!! ![]() DO

good luck on the recovery. take your rest seriously - it will help healing.
I broke mine in April, but found out 4 weks later that I also slightly tore my trap and should have been resting more instead of getting back on the bike too soon. learn from my stupidity! ![]() |

Red lines are what's left of his clavicle. I think the green arrow is pointing to a metal snap on his clothes.
...Which is what our victim said... BTW, you have earned the privilege of saying "I shattered my collar bone". If I ever break mine like that, I'm just going to ask them to replace it with a piece of titanium or composite or something.... Last edited by mtnbikerfred; 08-07-2008 at 12:16 PM. Reason: D. O.
