Default painful little spill/broken clavical update (x-rays)/Before and After

Hey guys. you can now add me to the list of injured riders. I was riding my dirt bike at Perris Raceway, came into a turn way too hot, lost the front end, and was slammed to the ground breaking my collar bone.

the doc says that im out for at least 6 weeks. cant wait to get back on the bike!!!

good luck on the recovery. take your rest seriously - it will help healing.

I broke mine in April, but found out 4 weks later that I also slightly tore my trap and should have been resting more instead of getting back on the bike too soon.

learn from my stupidity!

well 10 weeks till i can go full speed for football. im a d line and o line player so we get hit on the collar bone area a lot and cus it was a pretty weird brake(it went forward and up). And ya my neck is still stiff after a week(atleast on the broken side). my advise is keep it immobile for atleast the 1st week.

The three red lines on the left should be connected.

The arrow is pointing to a button on my shirt.

Red lines are what's left of his clavicle. I think the green arrow is pointing to a metal snap on his clothes.

...Which is what our victim said...

BTW, you have earned the privilege of saying "I shattered my collar bone". If I ever break mine like that, I'm just going to ask them to replace it with a piece of titanium or composite or something....
