Pamela - nice of you to offer up the x-rays for Sean. Might be a good idea Sean. The fully loop?? Let's see, the reason I wear the 'vintage' Shoei Troy Lee helmet now isn't because I'm nostalgic or want to look retro. It's because I've broken my last two helmets, you guessed it, AT THE LOOP and it's all I have until I get a new one. Heal up Sean and hope to see you soon. Jen will have to fly solo for a while. BTW, she did fantastic last week at the loop, charging up all the hills and going for/succeeding at some drops she even felt tentative about. Bravo to her -
to you!

My on going back problem was from a crash at the loop as well. Not a good idea to crash straight legged with all the force going into to your hips and lower back.I went on a dislocated hip and torn flexor muscles for 2 weeks without knowing it.Good Idea to go get looked at Sean.

This is the aftermath of my cousin's helmet. He went down at the bottom of that big hill just after crossing Parks Road. I was getting ready to take some pictures at the bottom and when I turned around, I saw him rolling on the ground. This happened later on the day of the vintage ride and he's still hurting from it. The doc said he sprained his neck and shoulder so he's going to be off the bike for a while.

Sorry about the crash. Seriously I doubt the ankle is broken but never bad idea to have it checked out. I thought the same thing with mine but that was only due to the pop i felt and heard. It really is hard to break an ankle its way easier to tear things then breaks bones.
How tall are you? I have crutches you can use if needed. |

Bummer Sean. I rolled up to you and saw all the dirt on the back of your shirt, but you shrugged it off.
![]() Later I saw you holding your arm the way folks do when they break their collarbone..... AND you were STILL jumping. Let's hope it's just a stinger. |
