That was pretty stupid. Next time, you should land on your face. A good helmet is over $100, but if you have a $0 deductable, it's cheaper to land on your face...and gas is expensive!

Wow, It looks like you're sporting a smile in the pics. Great attitude. As far as the guy on the Turner, I'm sure you'd do the same.

Get well...

Great attitude. I hope if that ever happens to me I'm as carefree about it as you. Sorry to hear of your misfortune too.

What kind of gang sign are you flashing there? Good luck in the recovery process. Rock-it will never be the same again. That's one nasty place to go OTB.

Dude-- I feel for you. Thanks for sharing as a reminder to us all to ride safe out there. If it makes you feel any better, we recently had to help a rider at Aliso who crashed and tumbled down with his bike. He somehow managed to get his left index finger caught up in one of his disc rotors as the wheel was still spinning at high speed. I'll leave it up to you to guess what happened but let's just say a half dozen mountain bikers were searching in the bush for an errant digit (it was found hung up on his spokes, btw). He was also wearing roadie gloves-- not sure if full-fingered woulda saved his finger but it surely woulda helped. Anyhoo, hang in there brotha and get well soon!

WOW, glad I didn't see this yesterday. I finally made it down Rock-It taking the middle line but I was going pretty slow. I don't think I would have attempted that had I seen your pic.

~~~HEALING VIBES your way man~~~
