Exclamation Medical reports from the front...

We have quite a few of the tribe that were just injured, recovering from injuries, getting MRIs, recovering from surgeries: NorthShore, Denmother, Cyco-Pancho, etc, etc...

Could we have some updates for the Tribe, please.

Healing vibes from all of us (zap!) to you guys and girls.

I am waiting for my second appt with an orthopedic surgeon. Original diagnoses either a grade 2 or 3 sprained ankle.

I still don't get why people like Vicodin so much, I have taken it twice with injuries and it doesn't do anything on me, I can get the same results from 2 advil. I passed on the Vicodin prescription this time.

I had a pretty severe ankle sprain when I was a wee lad. 3 weeks in a half cast and had to stay away from exercise for another month. Hope yours isn't that bad. They told me it would have healed faster had I broke it.
Good luck...

Praying my MTB Homies will heal soon!!!!!!

Dr. gave me the okay to ride and start working out, as long as I stayed within my limits. Unfortunately there's still some "stuff" left in my lung from the pneumonia, which will be my excuse for sucking wind these next few months.

Good luck and feel better to everyone on the mend.

I'll be running 12 Hours of Temecula with a broken nose and 2 black eyes. lol. If I get it fixed before the race, I'll have bandages on my nose and I'll be doped up on hydrocodone and acetaminophen! Here's a pic of the current status...

So there is a small tear in the ligament. Doctor said normally he would recommend surgery for most people but knowing me he wouldn't bother since he know unless he says you have to have surgery I am not going getting it done. I was able to stand with no support but not really able to walk. He wants me to try and take it easy for 2-3 weeks but at least another week. If it feels to lose after a few weeks when trying to move on normally he wants me to wear a brace for activities but thats only if it feels lose.

So the goal is maybe next weeks Sunday Loop.
