During yesterday's ride up to Brown MTN, my co-worker laura was notified that her sister had been in an accident on her bike vs. car in the Venice area. I found out later she passed away...

We plan on sending some flowers and she was an avid roadie. Laura was on her new Kona on the dirt for the first time and got the call at the Saddle..

Please pass on our condolences, there is no greater loss than one so close to your heart.

OMG! its so sad to hear of these accidents! my lady saw the aftermath of a biker vs. semi collision. i wish her family all the best and hope to god that people will pay more attention when they are driving!
as cyclists we should band together and push for greater inclusion of bicyclists rights because too many of us are dying for no reason. |
