Default elbows and knees.. suggest lightweight for summer?

Man, i just seem to bugger up elbows and knees even in easy crashes, and i'm thinking it's time to invest in some pads, now that i'm pushing my skills a little...

suggestions for lite/ cool pads? I'm primarily CC rider, with the occasional two foot drops, and a trip or two to Sedona thrown in.

i've got my wifes six six one neoprene pads.. but they are WAY uncomfortable.

?

I know whats more UNcomfortable than six six one neoprene pads, buggered up elbows and knees!

There's a few people on here that use pads, hopefully they chime in..

Great topic. I ride mostly XC so I don't fall often, but when I do my knee usally gets damaged. I've been thinking that I need some pads, but have been putting it off.
