Still not officially cleared for riding in the dirt but went out to the BMX track last Monday (no sprinting or jumping yet).

Then begged Roger to take me to Snow Summit yesterday. Managed to ride all day with no issues. Climbing uphill is still limited to slow spinning but downhill bombing, NO PROBLEMO!!!

If yesterday was your version of just getting back into riding, I'd hate to see you ride firing on all cylinders feeling healthy and strong. That would seriously be depressing to the rest of us average riders.

I couldn't help but notice while following you down yesterday @ the smooth fluid lines you were picking (which I followed). Roger was cracking me up with his "honey, you really should be slowing down and be taking it easy more" speech. That was good stuff!!!

Well, considering you were pretty much the only one with a camera, I think you should!

I definitely want to make it up there again before the summer's up. 1/2 price on lifts (thanks Neil!) and 1/2 price margi's at local Mexi restaurant can't be beat. That's a double bonus that's hard to turn down for any sensible person.

Congrats! Glad to hear you're back on the dirt. Sounds like you've healed up well.
I just gotta ask. Did you photoshop Willie's eyes or were they seriously that big?

Default Rehab update

Still going to rehab, have 4 more weeks of PT. Did the SART ride last Saturday and managed to ride 30 miles. Still can't hammer really hard and have to make sure that my kneecaps tracks straight.

Therapist has be jumping and working on lateral movements and increasing my strength.

FWIW, I finally put the clipless pedals back on my bike 2 weeks ago and I can now clip in and out with out pain!!!

I will be racing this weekend in Brian Head and hoping for good results.
