That's excellent! I stopped taking the hard stuff days after my hand injury too. Ibuprofen or Naproxen to keep the inflammation down and that's all you need. (of course, I can't forget Roger lovin', for me it was Cathy lovin')

Some day we'll end up riding SB together with the rest of the FOCer's.

Indocin! We rode SB last Saturday and had a blast. 1 tunnel, 1 Cold Springs and 2 knapps!

I had rode A LOT prior to a bit of scope work I had done, I was back on my bike in a week. Just simple parking lot type riding, went for a lap around the Rose Bowl. The next week I rode to the Rose Bowl to do my lap.

My doctor said that he wasn't going to perscribe any PT, if anything he was going to hold me back. Basically, it's listen to your body and just do things while eduring a bit of pain. It'll begin to subside... Sounds like you are doing great though!!

Default Rehab update 7/8

Week 2 of Physical Therapy has begun. Lots of Isometric exercises while straightening the leg and flexing the quad (ouch) and 10 minutes on the stationary bike!!!!

PT Tech says 4-6 weeks total before I can get on a real bike. My 1 month follow up with the Orthopedist is next Wednesday. Pray for positive results!!!!

Default Update 7/17/08

Went to the Orthopedist today. I can now ride my bike off the trainer!!! Just flat pavement riding for now, 30 minutes at a time with rest breaks. Oh, and the PT added weights to my therapy routine. Woo Hoo!!!

BTW, I did actually ride Roger's RFX last night around the block 3 times.

Brian Head Nationals, here I come!!!
