I'm sure Roger wouldn't mind hooking up a Burley trailer to his bike for you.

Wishing you a speedy recovery Nancy - maybe when you are back up and running we can share the trails...how about the San Gabs?

Default Surgery Update

Surgery went well, no complications, no extra drilling necessary. Should only be on crutches a few days. Will know more on Thursday after post-op appointment and will post an update then.

Thanks for all the prayers, vibes and well wishes, they all worked!!!!

Me and my Spongebob pillows and a bottle of Vicodin!!!

Oh, I forgot to say thanks to those of you who suggested purchasing an ice machine. I ended up buying the Polar Care 300. Come to find out, the Doctor doesn't prescribe an ice machine for this type of surgery and the rental for 2 weeks was the same as the purchase!

Best of luck with your recovery and PT. I'm sure you'll be back on your bike in no time.

In the meantime, milk the benefits of being disabled.

Hey DenMom! Hang in there. Shoot, I should have been monitoring this thread more closely. I have one of those ice machines at home!

I'm sure you'll bounce back fast, and so heal up quick.

Btw, don't lose that velcro ace bandages. That stuff is awesome and hard to find. Much better than the stuff you get at the grocery store.

Let me know if you need a little bell to ring when you want Roger to fetch you something.

I look forward to seeing you on the trails again.

Glad it went good. Don't let the guys at the Sport Clinic give you to much crap during PT. If they do I can give you dirt on the two Jims.
