agree with Vit E pills and neosporen (sp?).

also I use a product called 'brave soldier' (http://www.bravesoldier.com/1/main.php) in the past. carry a small tube in my pack. seems to work well.

healing vibes and get her back out there soon!

The sounds like my crash on maple springs. Here's hoping she feels better soon and now what a story to tell at work! Healing thoughts to her.

I hope your wife heals and is fine. Mathis to me has a lot of different types of terrain and I feel nervous every time I go down it, hopefully she'll attempt it again and will gain more confidence. I hope for a speedy recovery and no scars. Take Care.

Default She really was pretty banged up!!

We can verify that she was a bit of a mess, but very courageous!! My wife and I were out hiking and found them checking her over at the bottom of Mathis just minutes after the crash. What a good husband!! She was dripping blood from a cut or two, and that elbow was nasty! She gets high marks and big props for maximizing the damage from one crash!! It was impressive that she got back on the bike & rode off on her own!! Very Cool!!

Lots Brave Soldier ointment (especially on that elbow) and wear a sun hat for the summer to keep the newly healed mug from getting burned.

She was very courageous!! My wife and I were hiking down Mathis & came upon the carnage just minutes after the crash. Let me tell you... she was really banged up!! She gets high marks and kudos for being tough, getting back on that bike and riding off under her own power! Very Impressive!! Thanks for the pictures, and I'm glad that she did not need stitches in her leg... I was wondering.

Thanks for stopping and making sure everything was alright, we really appreciate it. She is on the road to recovery... she's feeling the 2 day rule of soreness right now but the percocet is helping with that haha. Today she's going to start heating the shoulder and wrist after icing it all day yesterday, soon enough she'll be back out there!

A speedy recovery to the Mrs! Be sure to keep her spirits up so she won't be gun shy on the next Mathis run. I've endo'ed on Rock-It before!

Tough lady is an understatement. I was behinder her and saw the OTB first hand. I was the one to pull the bike off her. After assessing the damage she said she would be OK to ride out. When we hit the road I peddled ahead to get the truck and meet her, Slowride & my wife at the steel gate. She never stopped at the gate, I got a call saying they were at the parking lot
BTW..... I never saw one tear or heard a wimper. Even while she was getting cleaned up and checking out the new war wounds at my pad.

Checked my Garmin when I down loaded my ride and my heart rate spiked above 180 when she crashed. Side note, I've only been in this sport for 3 years and this was the narliest OTB crash I've seen.

Slow & I fixed her bike up last night. More upgrades to come. As for my wife........I'm asking that she allow me to buy her elbow and knee pads to wear on the dowhill sections.

James knowing your wife, she'll want to be on the trail by next week.

Boom.....OUCH...... trail rash! I've only been down Mathis once. I can see how there are opportunities to vault and auger.

Get better and no more using your face as a brake, them discs with mega rotor should be good!
