I think that is one of the best sequences of a crash I have ever seen.

Too bad he didn't know the frog technique (or maybe one of Biker Fox's tricks) - he could have landed on his feet!

The TV show “Jackass” is filmed in this area (Westchester PA) where at least one of the cast members (Bam) lives so I just hope Max is not trying to emulate them.

But in all seriousness I have forwarded this thread to my nephew Max hoping he will get something out of all your comments, both the positive and less than positive ones.

Sharing ones experiences helps us all avoid similar mistakes and I agree that proper protection should always be worn.

Helmet nazis please give it a rest. If someone doesn't want to wear one that's their choice. Just because it's not the choice you or I would make doesn't give anyone the right to tell someone else what to do.

Unhappy Ouch! That hurts just looking at it!!!

Have you ever noticed it's the young male grasshoppers that do this stuff? With age comes wisdom.... I stopped jumping several years ago and my bones thanked me for it... got tired of breaking them.

Please wear a lid. I don't like it when I ventilate an intubated patient and blood/air bubbles out of your head onto me, my crew and the ambulance. Either that or make sure it's severe enough that I can pronounce you dead on scene. Thanks.

Get him a helmet, if he doesn't wear it, get him a donor card.

Hope he heals well.

I worship the ground I ride on. Landings are to be avoided at all cost. Good advice for the Over Healing crowd, the ones that are too old to get over the healing process. There are old birds, and bold birds, but there are no old, bold birds.
