I'm sorry that happened, and I wish it never did - but having said that, I hope you mangled their car real good and keep them from their next McDonalds run for a good long while... And I hope that they had insurance that will help to pay for your damage! Although it's never even close to enough $$...

At least your bodies and bikes are in good condition, so go out for a ride and forget your troubles for a while.

I'm so sorry Kelly. Accidents are so depressing, especially when you really love your car and it wasn't even your fault. It's really weird how I commented on your clean Element last night while mine always seems to be dirty.

Do you think they will total it or try to fix it? Sometimes it's better just to total them and get a new one. Either way, I hope you're back in your Element soon - your old one or a new one.

Thanks for all the well wishes...it was hard sleeping too, I stood on the side of the road shaking and couldn't get over that feeling. Stinks I tell ya. The body shop said they can fix it (most likely)...one of the main guys said the car has good value and the way the accident happened they can replace most of the front end.

I got a few road reports from today and heard it was a great time and a beautiful ride. We are bummed missing the event, it was truly of epic proportions I hear! Well Hurkey is coming and a lot of us will be there....so if I don't see you on Taco Tuesdays at Peters... (shannon) hopefully will see ya up in the mountains

Again thanks...

This morning at the Marshall Cyn ride, someone mentioned what happened: that you were involved in an accident and thought your car might be totaled. I'm so sorry to hear this, and hope you and Jeff are okay. It was nice meeting you last night at the Path... I was looking forward to seeing you both today at the ride.
Hopefully, the situation will be resolved soon.

I'm sorry that happened to you. If I was there, y'know, I would have gotten out and decked 'em!
Be gentle to yourself, car accidents can cause emotional stuff like anxiety attacks and fun stuff like that so just relax and be grateful you weren't in the upside down SUV I saw on the 105 today.
Sorry we missed you. I was all ready to push you up the hill on the A ride!

Thumbs up Second that...

As Gene said, you and Jeff were missed today... but glad to hear no major physical damage. It will take a while for your mind to clear... you've been traumatized and it will take time to heal. Funny how life can change in an instant.... one minute you're driving down the street, the next minute you're staring at a broken car. That's why it's import to tell people you love them... let them know.

Whatever you and Jeff need, let us know.... we'll make it happen. Remember, you're part of our Tribe now...

One more here saying so glad you two escaped relatively unharmed. I've experienced that air bag chafe first hand, and know it's no picnic. Those arms will be tender for a few days to come.

Nothing that will keep you off the bike, I hope, as that's about the best way to stay sane in a situation like this.

Maybe stick to the dirt for awhile, though...

Are you being compensated for fuel, or is your wallet about to get T-boned as well? That giant sucking sound you'll soon be hearing is the difference in gas mileage between an Element and a Silverado. Yikes.
