XC not DH for me

Default First post is an injury

I rode with two guys on here and I dont know there SNs. Met one of them on SoCalEuro (European car forum) his name is Matt and the other is Dan from here. We rode Noble Canyon and it was my first time and tried to keep up with Dan, which was not a good idea when I had no idea what to expect. Fell 5 minutes into the ride doing the switch backs. Happened at 8am and ended up getting 8 stitches at 5pm. Emergency room ran me around for 3 hours and so i left, went home, ate something and went to Urgent care and was in and out in an hour.

Here are the pictures.
This is after I cleaned it up the best I could:

After stitches:
Big purple bruised knee:

I had a helmet cam on and my Mac can edit the video but changes the format to some Mac file and no internet video can support it. Before editing it it is 1.2 Gb.

Many more posts to come, but here is a start.

Welcome to the forums. Sounds like a good ride and a proper "hazing"

Heal fast. Oh yeah, I am sure there is SOMEONE on STR that could help you with the video format so we all can see the actual carnage.

Ugh. Knee stitches are the worst. I had them last year and no matter how careful I was, they came open by the end. At least the scar looks cool. Good luck. Healing vibes.

I got rid of most of my stuff, S4 rims included. I have to tinted tails and a Thule Roof fairing so that would be me. I put money to my Project rabbit

Mine too. 79 diesel 4dr, metallic green. So pimp. I had a 2nd fuel tank so that when I drove up to Sacramento, I still had a full tank of fuel. There's nothing like getting passed on Grapevine by a bunch of semi's.
