Default Went to Ortho today

Went to the ortho today and he went over my x rays and said 95% chance everything should heal normaly. The only bad thing is i will not be released until i am at 100% 8 weeks? thats a long time. They really cant do much for the collarbone break but try to keep it mobilized, everytime i turn i feel the bones rubbing and moving and that is uncomfortable (ok it hurts) I think when i am ready to ride again i wont be going very fast at all, in fact no scst for a while and no elevated ladder crossings.

Look at the positive side.

When it heals it will be stronger than before

and...you get to have a cool bump there that will clearly identify you as a Mtn. Biker to everyone who sees you with your shirt off.

On the bright side, at least you didn't need surgery. I was sidelined for four months last year cuz of my busted c-bone.

Hope you heal up fast.

Heal up real quick and then face your fears and ride the SCST on first ride back

I was right behind you when it happened man, I'm glad the doc said you'll be fine.

I was always afraid of bridge and watching you crashed make me swear that i'll walk all bridge from now on.

Just relax and enjoy the time off. Make sure your arm stays next to your body on the trainer.
